How We Will Calculate Your Balance: We use a method called “average daily balance (including new purchases).” See your Credit Card Agreement for more details.
Loss of Introductory APR: We may end your introductory APR and apply the standard APRs if you fail to timely make a payment.
Billing Rights: Information on your rights to dispute transactions and how to exercise those rights is provided in your Credit Card Agreement.
Important Information About Procedures For Opening A New Account: To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. What this means to you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents. The information that is being requested and observed is for compliance with the requirements of Section 326 of the USA PATRIOT Act related to implementing customer identification and verification requirements.
Variable Rate Information: Unless an Introductory APR is in effect, the index used to determine your variable APR is the Prime Rate show in The Wall Street Journal on the last day the rate is published in each calendar month. The index will be effective for the entire billing cycle that ends in the second month after the determination date. As of October 2012, the Prime Rate was 3.25%
APR for Purchases on Platinum card: To determine the APR for purchases, we add a margin of 6.74% or 8.74% to the Index. APR may vary based on credit worthiness.
APR for Purchases on Platinum Rewards card: To determine the APR for purchases, we add a margin of 10.74% or 12.74% to the Index. APR may vary based on credit worthiness.
APR for Purchases on Classic card: To determine the APR for purchases, we add a margin of 12.74% or 14.74% to the Index. APR may vary based on credit worthiness.
APR for Purchases on Classic Secured card: To determine the APR for purchases, we add a margin of 13.74% or 14.74% to the Index. APR may vary based on credit worthiness.
APR for Balance Transfers on Platinum, Platinum Rewards, and Classic cards: To determine the APR for balance transfers, we add a margin of 6.74%, 8.74%, 10.74%, 12.74, or 14.74% to the Index. APR may vary based on credit worthiness.
APR for Balance Transfers on Classic Secure card: To determine the APR for balance transfers, we add a margin of 13.74% or 14.74% to the Index. APR may vary based on credit worthiness.
The Prime Rate is subject to change monthly on the first day of each month and is the Prime Rate published in the Wall Street Journal on the last business day of the month. An increase or decrease in the Prime Rate will cause a corresponding increase or decrease in the variable rate on the first day of your billing cycle that ends on or after the date of the change. The APR for Purchases, Cash Advances and Balance Transfers will not exceed 18.00%. Your actual APRs will be determined based on your creditworthiness and provided to you in writing when your application is approved.

Please note: Your account generally will have monthly billing cycles, except that your first billing cycle may be more or less than one month. All credit terms, including minimum finance charges, will apply In each billing cycle including the first billing cycle.
You understand that the terms of your account, including APRs, are subject to change. APRs are not guaranteed and they may change to higher APRs. We may also change whether your rates will be variable or not.
IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING CHANGES IN TERMS: We reserve the right to unilaterally change the rates, fees, costs, and other terms at any time for any reason in addition to APR increases that may occur for failure to comply with the terms of your Account. All changes in terms will be subject to the requirements of applicable law.
For balance transfers and cash advances, we will begin charging interest on the transaction date.
Payments on your account may be applied in the order we select, subject to applicable law. Generally, this means that if you make payments in excess of the required minimum payment, we will apply the excess amount first to your balances with the highest Annual Percentage Rate. Any remaining portion of that excess amount will be applied to your other balances in descending order based on their applicable Annual Percentage Rates.
CREDIT REPORTS: By applying for this account you agree that Amarillo National Bank may obtain credit reports for purposes of processing your application and for later purposes related to your account such as reviewing, updating and renewing it, increasing the credit line and collecting. If you request, you will be informed of whether or not a credit report was requested and of the name and address of the consumer reporting agency that furnished the report. You also authorize Amarillo National Bank to verify your employment, income and other relevant information.
NOTICE TO CARDMEMBERS AND AUTHORIZED USERS: We may report information about your account to credit bureaus. Late payments, missed payments, or other defaults on your account may be reflected in your credit report.
New York & Vermont Residents: Upon your request, we will inform you of the name and address of each credit-reporting agency from which we obtained a credit report relating to you. New York residents may request a comparative listing of credit card rates, fees, and grace periods by writing to: Public Information, New York State Banking Department, 2 Rector Street, New York, NY 10006-1894 or by calling (800) 522-3330.
California Residents: (1) You have the right to prohibit us from disclosing to marketers of good marketing information concerning you that discloses your identity. You may exercise your right by calling us at 1-800-ANB-FREE; (2) If you are a married applicant you may apply for credit in your own name; (3) Applicants may, after credit approval, use the credit card up to its credit limit and may be liable for amounts extended under the plan to any joint applicant; (4) As required by law, you are hereby notified that a negative credit report reflecting on your credit record may be submitted to a credit reporting agency if you fail to fulfill the terms of your credit obligations.
Maine Residents: Consumer Reports (credit reports) may be requested in connection with this application. Upon request, you will be informed whether or not a consumer report was requested and, if it was, of the name and address of the consumer reporting agency that furnished the report.
Ohio Residents: The Ohio laws against discrimination require that all creditors make credit equally available to all credit worthy customers, and that credit reporting agencies maintain separate credit histories on each individual upon request. The Ohio Civil Rights Commission administers compliance with this law.
Rhode Island: Consumer reports may be requested with this application.
Wisconsin Residents: Wisconsin law provides that no agreement, court order or individual statement applying to marital property will affect a creditor’s interests unless prior to the time credit is granted the creditor is furnished with a copy of the agreement, court order or statement, or has actual knowledge of the adverse provision.
