Coordinate and be responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the annual HMDA reporting. Assist in the implementation of changes required by new or amended regulations. Review Compliance Department Monitoring Reports prior to distribution Assist in monitoring and reporting on specific sections within the primary Lending and Depository compliance regulations. Perform compliance reviews for advertising and marketing documents. Assist in maintaining ongoing compliance training programs. Serve as a resource for Lending and Depository compliance questions from all appropriate personnel. Work with banking Officers and employees in a non-adversarial manner, ensuring that procedures developed to keep the bank in compliance with regulatory requirements do not have an adverse impact on customer service. Requirements:
College degree preferred or high school minimum with a combination of advanced education and/or banking experience. Working knowledge of consumer compliance laws and regulations governing the administration and provision of primarily loan and secondarily depository products is required. Computer literate in Microsoft Office (Microsoft 365) and (Microsoft365) and other analytical software application system is essential. Must be proficient in detail work, aware of banking procedures and have good interpersonal and leadership skills. May be asked to research regulatory issuances for interpretations and to compile and distribute to applicable staff results of monitoring. Conducts research, review and monitoring of customers and their transactions. Responsible for mastering several computer application systems used to conduct these tasks and for writing comprehensive narratives explaining any findings. Retrieve reports and generate daily CTR requests for branches ensuring submission is done in a timely manner. Review CTRs for errors and completeness as submitted and monitor for suspicious activity. Make corrections to branch source for completing CTRs when necessary.
Requirements:
Associates degree preferred or high school minimum with combination of advanced education or banking experience. Strong background in BSA Compliance with good organizational skills and ability to pay attention to detail, and must be dependable and responsible. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Pro software and Personal Computer Platform system is required. Must be proficient in detail work and be aware and knowledgeable of some Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and other related BSA laws, regulations, interpretations and issuances.
